Wa Du Shuda Karoke Contest

Preliminary events for the Wa Du Shuda Karaoke Contest have begun.  The first was May 24th at Red's II, but you still have a chance to enter.

Upcoming karaoke contest preliminaries will be held at Portofino Bay on  May 31st, at Shipwreck Bay on June 7th, at the Dirty Turtle on June 14th, and at Pine Cove on June 21st. Contest Semi-Finals will be at Detour on June 28th.

Final will be held during Wa Du Shuda Days on July 12th in Riverside Park. Entry fee is $5.

This Saturday in Juneau County

May 10th Trinity Lutheran Church in Hustler will hold a pancake breakfast from 8AM to 10AM - enjoy pancakes and sausage, or biscuits and gravy.  Cost is $7/adults and $4/kids 8 and under. Proceeds will go to help church youth attend summer Bible Camp.

Also on May 10th it's sign up day for Summer Rec Programs in Mauston from 8AM-1PM at City Hall. Programs include Basketball, T-ball, Little League, Softball, Volleyball, Golf, Tennis and Arts, Crafts, Games and Activities.

On May 10th you can also go to the Family Bird Walk at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge from 10AM-11AM  Details here Family Bird Walk

Our Kids Outdoor Day

The Outdoors Forever Conservation Club is holding Our Kids Outdoor Day April 26th for kids age 5 and older at their clubhouse in Mauston.  The event runs from 8:30 AM to Noon and includes Shed Antler Hunting, Archery, Tree Planting. Bird House Building and Trapping.

Family Bird Walk

Head to the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge this Saturday April 12th for a Family Bird Walk from 10AM-11AM. See migrating songbirds, waterfowl, swans, and cranes. Beginners and experienced birders welcome to this free event.

Free Music Festival Thursday

A Music Festival with students from Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro Junior High School, New Lisbon High School, New Lisbon Middle School, Royall High School, Royall Middle School, Weston High School, Weston Middle School, Wonewoc-Center High School and Wonewoc-Center Junior High School will be held Thursday March 27th 4PM to 9PM at Weston High School in Cazenovia.

Outdoors Forever Banquet

The 28th Annual Outdoors Forever Super Fund Banquet will be Saturday March 22nd 6PM at Anjero’s Sports Bar and Grill in Mauston.  This banquet raises funds for youth education, the pheasant program and other conservation related activities.
