Ross Curry, 81, of Wisconsin Dells, recently released "Hidden History of the Wisconsin Dells Area."
From Blackhawk Island to Baraboo and Lone Rock to Lyndon town, Curry depicts first settlers, pioneers, Juneau County moonshiners, notorious characters and military veterans throughout Central Wisconsin.
He links descendants with their forbearers through investigation, research and oral history from 150 years ago.

Wildlife Film Fest
The Necedah National Wildlife Refuge is having a February Film Fest on Saturdays this month.
Movies begin at 1PM, admission is free and includes popcorn! Family activities are planned for after the movie until 3PM
The first movie last Saturday was Winged Migration - sorry if you missed that one. Upcoming movies are:
February 12th, Bears
February 19th, Stranger in the Woods
February 26th, Never Cry Wolf
