Like to
walk on the snow and check out birds? Here's the hike for you!
Saturday January 12th the
Necedah National Wildlife Refuge is hosting a
Snowshoe Bird Hike starting at 1PM.
All skill levels welcome, this hike will include
a short snowshoe lesson and then off to the woods to find winter birds. Snowshoes for adults and children are loaned out free of charge on a first come first serve basis.
Can't make it Saturday? The park's trails are open
seven days a week, sunrise to sunset, and cross-country skis and snowshoes are available free of charge at the Visitors Center.
