Many teenagers have big dreams. The Rev. Kent Pierce, a 1989 graduate of Mauston High School, is finally following his dream and inspiring teens by taking a 3,500-mile trek from the state of Washington to Connecticut.Follow us on Twitter
“I wanted to do this in high school and then in college,” Pierce said. “I went on several bicycle trips with my family then and always wanted to go across country.”
Pierce, the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Campus Ministry pastor at the University of Missouri, is riding a bicycle coast to coast for a cause. He wants to raise awareness and support for the missionary opportunities that exists on college and university campuses.
